But we both need and want to focus on our work and we’ll think of taking our relationship to the next level when the time is right. Right now, things are beautiful the way they are.”

This year as the venue has shifted to South Africa, it seemed difficult that SRK would manage to take them along.Also since their school was holding special classes delaying their summer vacation. But Shah Rukh apparently applied for a special permission and the school gave his kids five days of holiday as a special case.”

Shah Rukh expects Knight Riders to have more drive in IPL

CAPE TOWN: Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan is confident increased availability of international players will make the team more competitive in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).The franchise finished sixth in the inaugural IPL when they struggled to build momentum with various departures and arrivals of non-Indian players, whose participation was cut short by international commitments.But while Australia captain Ricky Ponting has ruled himself out of this season's glitz-and-glamour Twenty20 spectacular to rest, Khan believes the presence of other foreign stars will boost the Knight Riders."Internationally, I think the players will be more available, so we have the whole team to begin with," he told a media conference at a five-star hotel soon after arriving in this south-west city."We'll have Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum, and then David Hussey will join us when Gayle has to leave. Brad Hodge is here, and so is Sourav Ganguly. Everyone has been practising over the past 10 days."We are working on amazing plans, including the captaincy issue, which has been a controversy over the past month. No new song has been recorded this year. The music video will now also have an African feel to it with slight changes to the music. ”Our source further reveals, “SRK plans to leave for South Africa on Tuesday April 14th for the inaugural ceremony which is going to take place on April 17th. We have already told you that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was going to be the face of 'Bollywood Barbie'; but refused. Well Lakme Fashion Week opened their festivities for Fall/Winter 2009 anyway and threw a rocking event called Barbie All Doll'd Up to celebrate the doll that is known around the world.This "Dress the Barbie" event drew about 75 entries from top designers all over the country.Out of that number; 20 "dolls" walked down the runway>The designs were playful, colorful, and whimsical. Outfits by designers Vivek Kumar, Neeta Lulla, Atit Bhatt, Anand Bhushan, Tanvi Kedia, Abdul Haldar, Ruchi Mehta, Niak, Jyoti Sharma, Sonam Mehta, Prashant/Sudha and Shantanu/Nikhil were displayed. The event took place at the Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai on Friday March 27th. The runway was Barbie chic with the color pink everywhere along with the well recognized Barbie logo.The winning dress was by Nishka Lulla which was modeled by the super sexy actress Katrina Kaif. It looks like since Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan doesn't want to be immortalized in plastic doll form that Katrina Kaif is going to take her place. A spokesperson for Mattel India said "There are plans to replicate the winning design on the doll within six months or so. It will definitely be this year and the doll will be a Katrina Kaif look-alike".Nishka Lulla said of her winning dress "I dressed up Barbie in what would be her 18th birthday outfit. I've made use of a big golden bow at the back, and brocades and the Rajasthani Shibori fabric. It is rather ironical that Yash Raj Films' much-talked about forthcoming release "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi", which is expected to bring cheer to the production banner and wrap up the year on a happy note, is being released in a not very happy time.Starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan along with newcomer Anushka Sharma, the romantic drama is releasing Dec 12.The people in Mumbai, in particular, are still haunted by the wounds inflicted on the nation's movie and financial capital by terrorists 10 days ago. But the production house is hopeful that by the time the movie hits the screen, normalcy will return to Mumbai and the mood of the people, not only in Mumbai, but elsewhere in the country, too, will undergo a change."At least, we are expecting that to happen, though nobody can predict what will happen tomorrow," a spokesman of Yash Raj Films told Thursday.In Mumbai, the people have begun to come to the cinema halls. But there are palpable signs of suspense around most of the cinema premises and most cinegoers are still caught in fear and uncertainty.This accounts for the sparse clientele of family audience, particularly the females who, otherwise, throng the multiplexes in the city."Following Mumbai police's order, we have stepped up the security check at our properties. Though this may have inconvenienced our patrons, we must say that it is for their own safety that we have had to do so," said Yogesh Mehta, manager of Cinemax property at Goregaon, a north-west suburb of Mumbai.The news floating around currently that there might be another terror attack only adds to the city's tense situation, even though the people in general have taken it in their stride and are going about their jobs as usual."After what Mumbai went through 10 days ago, it is understandable if a fear psychosis has gripped the city and there is a little drop in the number of people visiting the theatres of late.The theatre managements can do nothing but to bear with it and hope that the scenario will turn for the better soon," said R.C. It seems to us that Amrita Rao forgot to be Indian at her own movie premier ‘Welcome to Sajjanpur’. Priyanka to do item song with SRK

After Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra has been chosen as the third heroine to make a special appearance in Priyadarshan's "Billoo Barber" and shake a leg with Shah Rukh Khan.And Priyadarshan says it was a cakewalk for the superstar to get the leading ladies to do a cameo in his comedy."Since Shah Rukh plays a filmstar in the movie, I needed him to do some big glamorous song and dance numbers with some top heroines. I left the choice to Shah Rukh. I knew all he had to do was to pick up the phone and ask any of his leading ladies," Priyadarshan told.According to sources, it was a tie between Rani Mukerji and Priyanka for the third item song with Shah Rukh Khan in "Billoo Barber"."But after Rani appeared on Salman Khan's game show 'Dus Ka Dum' and knowing there's no love lost between Salman and Priyanka, the scales tilted automatically towards Priyanka," an industry source said.Though King Khan has done item numbers earlier in "Shakti", "Kaal" and "Krazzy 4", this would be Priyanka's first item number.The song with Kareena was shot at the very start of the shooting."At this very moment, I'm shooting a second item song with Deepika and Shah Rukh.
